Boot Camp: Peoria Heights hungry for more wins

The Patriots will be inexperienced this season, but crave more wins after going 4-5 in 2012.

PEORIA HEIGHTS - After three straight seasons of not winning a single game, Peoria heights broke out their funk last season, winning four contests and finished with a 4-5 record.

The Patriots will be young again this year, but there is plenty to get excited about in the 'Heights.

"We're gonna be young and we're gonna be inexperienced this year," said Jon Adkins, Head Coach. "With that being said, I really like what we got. I truely feel we are gonna be very competitive in our conference this year."

"We are very young but I still think we are gonna get the job done. Our younger kids are getting the hang of it," said Ron Willis, Senior Wide Receiver.

Peoria Heights plays Elmwood-Brimfield to open the season on August 30th.
