Boot Camp: Winning attitude coming back to Limestone

Boot Camp: Winning attitude coming back to Limestone

Limestone is ready to turn their program around.

BARTONVILLE - Limestone's 2-7 season last year didn't sit well well with Darin Driscoll.

With 50 players in camp, the second year Head Coach hopes an influx of upperclassmen will help launch the rockets to the upper half of the Mid-Illini.

"This senior group has started winning in other sports," said Darin Driscoll, Limestone Head Coach.  "Basketball wn last year.  Baseball won the conference and now we'll get that rolling into football.  Winning attitude is coming back to Limestone.  We're building off it right now."

"We've all been playing since - some of us six, seven years old," said Adam Schmidt, Senior Quarterback. "That helps a lot.  I dont know, just knowing what everybody is going to do or when everyone';s going to make that break or play, it's big."

Limestone opens in Macomb on Friday.
