WMBD/WYZZ-TV - PEORIA, Ill. - Jim DeRose calls it his most athletic team in a while.
Chris Olivera has another view.
"I feel like this team is the deepest team I've ever been on in my four years," said the senior forward from Dunlap. "I'm very excited; the schedule is very hard. I'm looking forward to it. I feel like we have very high expectations."
Bradley appears confident as it sets to embark on the 2013 season. Even the newcomers feel a little swagger.
"Playing in front of the home crowd is always a bit chilly," said freshman midfielder Alex Garcia, a Peoria Notre Dame product. "But once I get into the flow, I think I'll be alright."
Bradley opens at home with games on Aug. 30 and Sept. 1.
