Police Make Arrest In Busey Bank Robbery

Police an arrest in Busey Bank Robbery in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON -Bloomington Police say they’ve made an arrest in connection with a robbery at a twin cities bank. 

Officials say 25 year old Theodore Beasley of Lincoln was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshall Task Force and Bloomington Police Department Tuesday in Hartsburg.

Beasley is facing one count of financial institution robbery.

The incident happened on October 11th at the Busey Bank Branch located in the 2400 block of East Washington Street in Bloomington.

Beasley is currently being held at the McLean County Jail, he's scheduled to appear before a judge sometime this week.

BLOOMINGTON - Bloomington Police investigated a late Friday afternoon bank robbery at Busey Bank at 2402 East Washington. The suspect escaped in a car with an undisclosed amount of cash. No word yet on the description of the getaway car or suspect. More information will be released later.
