Canton Woman Needs Double Lung Transplant

A fundraiser Saturday will help raise money for a Canton woman who needs a double lung transplant.
CANTON – A Canton woman is on oxygen 24 hours a day, at the age of 29. You have a chance to help.

Michelle Jump is in desperate need of a double-lung transplant. Her family said that will cost about $800,000.

The Cuba High School graduate and Army Veteran first fell ill in 2006 and tests showed that she had a terminal heart condition. Her husband is holding a fundraiser Saturday, September 14 and you can help.

It’s a fun run and auction that will be at Brew N Cue in Canton.

Registration for the ride begins at 10AM until noon. The ride lasts until 5 PM.

The cost is $20 per bike, and $10 per extra rider.

After the ride finishes, there will be raffles, food and an auction.

If you want to make a donation, you can do so at http://patients.transplants.org/michellejump
