Chicagoan Charged with Peru Armed Robbery
A Chicago man, already facing armed robbery charges in DuPage County, was facing new charges Tuesday in connection with a robbery in LaSalle County which left a K 9 dog dead. A warrant was issued Tuesday for 23 year old Dennis Clark, Junior whose currently being held for a Naperville holdup. Police say on August 3rd authorities were responding to a holdup at the Verizon Store in Peru and enroute to the crime scene, a crash occurred, killing K 9 dog Kali. Bond for Clark is set at a million dollars and additional charges may be filed later. Clark is currently on parole from a 2010 burglary.
