Cold Temps Make Outside Activities Difficult

The sub-zero temperatures in Central Illinois are making tasks outside difficult to deal with.

PEORIA - The freeze put on Central Illinois is making it hard to get some things done outdoors.

Blowing snow and frigid temperatures are making simple tasks like shoveling a lot more difficult.

When the temp dips this low, it makes it hard to concentrate let alone function 100 percent.

Just being outdoors for a shot period of time is a tough task.

"Oh its cold, oh man it's cold out here.  I'm trying to hurry up and get done so I can get out of this cold weather, don't want to catch pneumonia or nothing.  Nose running, beard froze up.  Oh yeah, and how...it came in with a vengeance" says Latherio Chaton.

OSF Saint Francis says one person so far has been treated for frost bite.
