PEORIA - As clean-up continues in central Illinois, Bradley University students are lending a helping hand to some of the younger tornado victims.
Students are making comfort blankets for the children affected by the tornadoes.
You can stop by the student center in room five anytime between ten am to three pm all week.
The university is also holding a supply drive at the Markin Center.
They are accepting toiletries, bottled water, Gatorade, and non perishable food items.
“I think, right now it's just great to give our students an opportunity to get involved in a small way, but also on a larger scale, too. So once we have the all clear and we know that students can go out and do hands-on, we'll definitely have our opportunities for our students, faculty, and staff.”
More than 200 people have made more than 150 blankets.
Bradley University and volunteers provided materials for the blankets.
