Cooking with Karissa: Seven Layer Bars

Karissa demonstrates a recipe for Seven Layer Bars, sent in by Judy Young of Washburn

Seven Layer Bars:

 

stick of butter (melted)

1 cup of crumbled graham cracker crumbs

1 cup of chocolate chips

1 cup of butterscotch chips

1 cup of sweetened condensed milk

1 cup of sweetened coconut

1 cup of chopped pecans

 

Preheat oven to 350.

In a 9x9 pan, melt 1/2 stick of butter.

Spread 1 cup of crumbled graham cracker crumbs (you can buy a box of these crumbs) over the butter.

Spread 1 cup of chocolate chips over the crumbs.

Spread 1 cup of butterscotch chips over the chocolate.

Pour 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk over the top of chips.

Spread 1 cup of sweetened coconut over the milk.

Spread 1 cup of chopped pecans over the coconut. 

 

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
