Cooking with Karissa: White Chili

Karissa demonstrates a recipe for White Chili.
Yield 6-8 servings (3/4 c each)
2-15oz cans northren beans , drained
2- 13oz cans chicken broth or stock
1/2-1 tsp. minced garlic or 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c finely chopped onion
1 TB. oil
1-4oz can mild green chilies, chopped
2-tsps. cumin
1-tsp. oregano
2c cooked chicken, chopped or shredded (may use canned chicken breasts)
What to do:
1. Saute garlic ,onion, and chiles in oil in a 3 quart saucepan until limp.
2. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 30, covered, stirring occasionally.
3. Try topping with: Jack cheese, sour cream, or mild salsa!
