A Peoria County judge on Friday took under advisement a request by accused killer Nathan Leuthold to suppress evidence in his case. The former Baptist missionary claims he never gave police consent to search his personal property after his wife was found murdered. Leuthold is accused of murdering his wife last year on Valentine's Day in Peoria. Denise Leuthold was found shot to death in her parents' home on Mossville Road. Police believe Leuthold staged the murder to look like a burglary. The next court hearing is set for June 18th. Leuthold's trial has been moved back to July.
