Areas Prepare For First Flood Problems of 2014

LONDON MILLS - Small town prepares for potential flooding Thursday and Friday.
Area wide, cities saw anywhere from .25" to 1"+ of rainfall Thursday.
On top of that, throw in some 50° temperatures and all that snow will also melt.

Flood Watches were issued for across Central Illinois Thursday and for good reason.

Standing water on roadways and backyards were just a few of many concerns.

London Mills in Fulton County suffered a devastating flood in 2013.

Residents there say they don't expect major flooding but it is something they're keeping an eye on.
