EAST PEORIA - Gubernatorial candidate Bill Daley had some harsh words to say about fellow democrat Pat Quinn while in East Peoria Friday.

Daley said the state's financial crisis is in part due to the pension situation and legislators' inability to act. He said Governor Quinn isn't showing leadership on the problem.

Daley told reporters that if elected, he would make some real changes. We asked him when he plans to tell voters exactly what those changes would be.

"Over the next couple of months, this is a marathon, not a sprint and I think I want to move around the state talking to people, what do they need, what are their interests, what do they think the best problems are and how do they think we can best solve them?" Daley said.

The Illinois Democratic Primary is set for March 18th, 2014.
