Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - After winning his first regular PGA Tour event on Sunday, Angel Cabrera made a big jump in this week's world rankings.
Cabrera soared from No. 90 to No. 56 with the win. His first two victories were in major championships.
Adam Scott was No. 1 again this week, and he was followed by Henrik Stenson, Bubba Watson and Matt Kuchar.
Jason Day inched up one to fifth, while Justin Rose improved two to No. 6. With those two moves, Tiger Woods dropped a pair to seventh and Rory McIlroy was down a spot to No. 8.
Sergio Garcia held steady at No. 9 and was trailed by Jordan Spieth, Jim Furyk, Martin Kaymer and Phil Mickelson.
Dustin Johnson and Hideki Matsuyama exchanged places this week with Johnson up one to 14th. Zach Johnson remained No. 16.
Graeme McDowell successfully defended his title at the Alstom Open de France after Kevin Stadler missed a short par putt on the final hole. With the win, McDowell jumped three to 17th this week
Jimmy Walker, Steve Stricker and Luke Donald all dipped one and are ranked 18th to 20th this week.
