The last of two men, arrested in connection with a million dollar theft from Caterpillar last year, pleads guilty today and is sentenced to seven years in prison.
Fifty-year- old, John Peters of East Peoria changed his plea today.
He and thirty five-year-old, Eliot Wells of Peoria were accused of theft in what police call a three year scheme.
Police, using a search warrant at Peters’ house, say they found $300,000 of Caterpillar property.
The two former contract workers allegedly carried the stolen items out in a lunch bag and used an eBay account to sell them over the internet.
