Cell Phones and Kids

A cell phone company is launching a new phone campaign targeting children as young as five.
The newest cell phone to hit the markets is made for children between the ages of five and twelve. It's called the WeGo phone and is made by Sprint. It can provide parents with tracking information and can be programmed to only allow phone calls to specific phone numbers.
The product is launching a discussion among many families across the nation about the role of technology in a child's life.
Dr. Elizabeth Rose with the Children's Hospital of Illinois shares more on the potential impact screen time can have on children and the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
