A Chenoa man was being held Monday night after an investigation into the alleged downloading of child pornography. 40 year old Juan Bravo Junior was arrested following a search of his residence, according to a release issued Monday by Bloomington Police. During the search, police say several pieces of digital media were recovered that contained hundreds of images depicting the sexual abuse of children. Bravo will remain in custody until a detention hearing in Peoria federal court Wednesday. Bravo's arrest was a joint effort by Bloomington Police detectives and Central Illinois Cybercrime Unit. The unit is made up of local law enforcement, U S Attorney's Office in Peoria and U S Secret Service.
