District 429 Approves Superintendent's Resignation

PONTIAC - Pontiac District 429 hopes to have a new superintendent in place by July 1.
PONTIAC - Pontiac District 429 hopes to have a new superintendent in place by July 1.

On Monday, the school board approved the terms of Kevin Lipke's resignation agreement. Lipke's resignation comes after an undisclosed investigation by the Illinois State Police.

At its Feb. 20 meeting, the board will begin looking at companies to help them find a long-term replacement. Jim Davis will continue to serve as interim superintendent.
