Easter Seals Travels to India

This is the eighth year the organization held "Passage to India".
PEORIA - It's only been two months since the Easter Seals Telethon, but that isn't stopping the organization from working to raise money for next year.

Friday night - organizers took people to Bollywood in one of Easter Seal's biggest fundraisers.

This is the eighth year for "Passage to India."

People got to enjoy Indian cuisine and entertainment.

Easter Seals wants to show people Indian culture-- all while raising money for the services they provide for children with disabilities.

"It's just great to bring together the two cultures, because the Asian-Indian community is a large part of our Central Illinois community," said Co-Chairperson Brian May. "It's just a great way to bring the two cultures together."

Easter Seals hopes to raise 400,000 dollars at this year's event.
