A flight headed from St. Louis to Chicago made an emergency landing in Peoria Friday. According to a Peoria airport spokesman, GoJet Airlines flight 3642, operating as United Express, landed safely after experiencing a cabin pressure problem. There was indication of smoke in the cockpit, according to a statement from the airline. After the twin engine plane landed, it stopped in the middle of the runway and the 68 passengers were evacuated and taken to the terminal and no one was hurt. The airline sent a replacement plane to Peoria to fly the passengers the rest of the way to Chicago, arriving about two hours late.
