A former Orpheum Theatre manager in Galesburg was sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty to aggravated criminal sexual abuse. 27 year old Josh Damewood was charged in late 2012 with having sexual contact with an underage volunteer. Damewood will serve 60 days in jail as part of a work release program. He must also pay restitution to the Knox County Child Advocacy Center. According to WGIL Radio, Damewood was fired from his job at the Orpheum shortly after he turned himself in to authorities after a 16 year old boy went to police claiming Damewood performed sex acts on him back in October of 2012.
