Four Teens Charged in Bloomington Robberies

  Four Twin City teenagers have now been charged in connection with two separate robberies recently on Landmark at a coin laundry. 18 year old Benjamin Weber of Normal, 18 year old Darcell Jones of Normal, 18  year old Taylor Thompson of Bloomington and 17 year old Tevin Walden from Bloomington are each charged with two counts of robbery. Jones, Thompson and Walden are also charged with aggravated battery. Prosecutors say they will seek lengthy sentences if the defendants are convicted. Prosecutors claim the victims were robbed in two separate incidents. One victim was attacked before being robbed. Prosecutors say Weber confessed to his involvement and implicated the other co defendants. All four defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
