Average retail gas prices in Peoria have fallen 1.6 cents per gallon in the past week, according to a release issued Monday by GasBuddy.com. Prices were 8.2 cents per gallon higher than a year ago and 7.4 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan says increases will likely persist at worst for another month or so and at best, some relief may arrive as May rolls in.
