Today we asked candidates “The state’s temporary income tax increase is set to expire at the end of the year from the current five percent to 3.75 percent. Do you support the tax expiring or do you support keeping the tax?”

The primary election is less than a month away.


Illinois temporary income tax increase has been a big issue in the capitol.


I got to talk with all four republican candidates for governor to find out their platforms on this issue.

Republican candidates for Illinois Governor will debate Monday, March 3.
