Governor Pat Quinn is terminating the Illinois Lottery's private management agreement with Northstar Lottery Group, citing worsening lottery revenue. According to the Chicago Business Journal and Crain's Chicago Business, Northstar and Quinn's appointed lottery director locked horns almost immediately on how to market the lottery. The controversy has become a political issue and gubernatorial hopeful Bruce Rauner's campaign said , liked his failed anti violence program, which is under criminal investigation, this is another Pat Quinn decision coming undone.
