A Hanna City man, who turned himself into police in connection with an alleged road rage incident last April, was sentenced Thursday. 35 year old Steven Debis, Junior received five days in jail, according to court records and given credit for three already served, two years probation, ordered to undergo anger management counseling and write a letter of apology to the victim. Debis turned himself in shortly after police released a sketch of a suspect to give his side of the story. Police claim Debis allegedly followed the victim to his stopping place and beat him while driving from Pekin to Bartonville. Debis pleaded guilty Thursday to a misdemeanor battery charge.
