Hometown Heroes: Harley Brydon

This week's Hometown Hero is Tech Sergeant Harley Brydon.
Harley Brydon wanted to join the military out of high school, but his mother insisted he attend school.
He received his Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lincoln Tech.
Harley then followed in his granddad's footsteps, joining the Air Force in 2003.
He would run from San Jose to Pekin everyday to get in shape for boot camp.
From Africa, across Europe, to the middle east, Harley's service has taken him all over the world.
While on deployment, he even worked with a boxing program in Iraq to help soldiers mentally and physically.
Currently, Harley and his wife Heather are stationed at Fort Bragg, raising their one year old triplets.
He works on base, awaiting his next deployment as a Special Forces Tech Sargent.
His family describes him as a generous and loving person who is dedicated to his job and country.
