Kids Work to Close Technology Gap

Students at Sheridan Elementary School are working hard to keep up with rapid changing technology.
BLOOMINGTON- Students at Sheridan Elementary School are working hard to close the technology gap.

It's part of new program called SIT, Students Involved with Technology.

Groups of Sheridan fifth graders are preparing to make presentations based on the technology tools they have learned to use in school.

They'll show other students how to use apps, i-movies, and Lego animation.

They've been working on their presentations all year long and have even given up recess to work on them.

Teachers say it's all about preparing for the future.

The kids are excited to participate in the SIT conference that will be coming up on February twenty-second at Heartland Community College.
