Local Runner Gets Kids Involved in St. Jude Fundraising

A local runner gets kids involved in fundraising for St. Jude Runs.
DUNLAP - Runners are made their way back to Peoria from Memphis on Friday.
And local runners are getting in on the action throughout central Illinois this weekend.
Trinity Maston is a mother of four and will join the group from East Peoria to Peoria Saturday.
She says running for St. Jude is a privilege and fundraising for the organization is something she’s happy to do.
Maston even got her kids involved.
Jack and Gracie Maston helped raise money with their mom canning at Kroger, and ran a lemonade and cookie stand during a family garage sales.
Maston says raising funds for St. Jude is a joy to give to an organization that never turns family away.

"St. Jude is an awesome place for people to go to get help that they need. And so I just really wanted to give back that way and run and raise money for them.”

The Mastons have raised almost 800 dollars for St. Jude.
Runners will return to Peoria around 6:39 at the Civic Center on Saturday.
