Meg joined the WMBD 31 Team in September of 2005 as a General Assignment reporter.  She previously worked as your Weekend anchor and producer and general assignment reporter. In June of 2009, Meg received an Illinois Broadcasters Association Silver Dome award for Best Local Program for her series entitled "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep."

Meg comes to Central Illinois from the Hoosier state! She was born in Quincy, but moved to Mesa, Arizona at just 7 months old. Meg returned to the Midwest to attend Indiana University in Bloomington. She graduated in May 2005 with a B.A. in Journalism and a second concentration in Theatre and Drama. During the summer of 2004, Meg began her broadcast career with WTHR in Indianapolis, where she interned with the news department.

Through her work at WMBD, Meg connected with Easter Seals, an organization dedicated to providing services to children with disabilities.
