If you're thinking about dessert tonight, you can go out and get a sweet treat for a good cause.

Today is Miracle Treat Day at participating Dairy Queens.  Dairy Queen will donate at least one dollar for every blizzard purchased to the Children's Hospital of Illinois.

This is all a part of the Children's Miracle Network, which has helped kids like 11 year-old Payton McDonald.  He has Type 1 Diabetes, but was still able to get his share of ice cream this afternoon.

Payton, a Children's Miracle Network Champion Ambassador, says "I can always have it.  I just have a pump, and when I do have one, I put in my pump so I get my insulin."

Payton’s favorite flavor is the chocolate extreme.

He wants to help raise awareness to help other children with the Children's Miracle Network.
