Monday Afternoon Weather Update 4/14/14

Rain/snow mix is moving through central Illinois. Little if any accumulation is expected through tonight.
3:28pm:  Band of precipitation with rain and snow is moving through parts of central Illinois this afternoon.  The wintry mix will continue to move slowly to the east over the next several hours, as temperatures continue gradually fall.  Little if any accumulation is expected, however we could see a light dusting on grassy surfaces, especially for areas along the I-55 corridor to the east.

Skies will clear shortly after midnight, allowing for very cold temperatures for the overnight.  Everyone should bottom out in the mid 20's by Tuesday morning.
