An approaching low pressure system will increase cloud cover this afternoon. Thankfully, it will also bring in strong southerly winds to bump Election Day highs into the mid 50s. As a cold front slides through overnight, we'll see a chance of light rain moving in. It will start during the late evening and continue into the early morning. Overnight lows will only drop into the mid to upper 30s. Wednesday could see a few more sprinkles/flurries, with highs only reaching the mid 40s. The sun returns on Thursday, warming temperatures back into the low to mid 50s. We could see highs near 60 on Friday, but a quick low pressure system could bring us a chance at late showers and thunderstorms. The weekend will bring plenty of sunshine, but cooler highs in the low to mid 40s.
