Yesterday's warm front will leave us warm and muggy again today. Highs will reach the low to mid 80s. An area of scattered showers/storms is moving in from the southwest early on today. Once those pass, we'll likely dry out a bit into the early afternoon. By the late afternoon, a cold front to the west will begin popping up more storms in Iowa. As the line moves in from the west this evening, we'll see our best chance at strong to severe storms. Large hail and damaging winds are possible. Heavy rain and lightning are likely.
