Storms from this morning will move out, allowing for some clearing this afternoon. Sunshine and breezy southerly winds will drive up heat and humidity. High temperatures will reach the low 90s, with heat index values upwards of 100. A scattered storm is possible into early Saturday, but most of us will stay partly cloudy and dry overnight. Lows will stay mild in the mid 70s. A better chance at thunderstorms moves in on Wednesday afternoon and last us into the end of the week. We'll stay hot and humid for the rest of the week. Highs will reach the low 90s on Wednesday and the upper 80s Thursday and Friday. A few storms could last us into the weekend, but chances at this point look low. Temperatures will begin cooling, as highs only reach the mid 80s. Early next week should see drying and relief from the heat with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s.
