Morton Welcomes New Business

It's the third business with Chinese ties to move to the Pumpkin Capital
MORTON - A German Chinese partnership is laying down roots in the Village of Morton.

As a joint venture, two companies have created Yinlun PURitech Emission (YPET), which will set up shop in the existing Yinlun Machinery building.  It's the third company with Chinese ties to move to the Pumpkin Capital.

Jennifer Daly, CEO of the Morton Economic Development Council said the business plans to hire locally, offering high quality jobs.

"They are reaching out to other metal fabricators and other sources in the area to develop their supply chain so what it means too, is additional business for companies that are already located here," Daly said.

YPET plans to start production in May.
