A Morton woman pleaded guilty Monday to misdemeanor theft, according to court officials. Suzanne Ostrom was sentenced to ten days in jail and put on one year of probation. Ostrom was charged in February after an audit by the office of the Girl Scouts of Central Illinois determined several thousand dollars had disappeared without explanation from the savings account of a Girl Scout troop. According to court records, as part of the sentencing, Ostrom has made full restitution.
