Normal Lawsuit Dropped

Fight over apartment development
NORMAL - The Town of Normal is now free of its own lawsuit.
A local development group had sued the town, claiming discrimination over the development of an apartment complex in 2011.
The four people who filed suit had bid to build the complex but another developer was picked.
They had already lost the suit and were now in the appeals process.
They dropped their fight for an unknown reason.
Mayor Chris Koos tells us he is glad it is over, but town officials thought the suit was groundless anyway.
