A Normal teenager, charged in connection with an injury accident and vehicle burglary, was sentenced Tuesday. Ana Gianaras was given credit for jail time already served and put on probation and ordered to pay restitution. Prosecutors say Gianaras pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an injury accident and burglary. Those charges stem from an incident last May on I A A Drive after police say they seized some stolen property from a pawn shop as evidence. When Gianaras returned to the pawn shop, police were notified and the woman fled. Police claim Gianaras' car collided with another car on I A A Drive. The impact sent the second car into a utility pole, leaving that occupant injured. Gianaras fled the accident scene but was arrested later using a description of her vehicle.
