Oral arguments were heard Thursday in the term limits and reform constitutional amendment question regarding the November ballot. The Committee for Legislative Reform and Term Limits, chaired by gubernatorial hopeful Bruce Rauner argued its case before the Illinois Appellate Court over the continued battle to put term limits and reform amendment on the November ballot. The amendment would limit state lawmakers to 8 years in the Illinois General Assembly while making other structural and procedural changes to the legislature.
