One of four people rounded up in an alleged burglary ring in Pekin pleaded guilty Tuesday to a misdemeanor theft charge. 24 year old Jacob Hill, who police describe as more of a lookout, entered his plea and was given 30 days in jail but was given credit for 13 days already served, according to court officials. Also arrested in connection with this crime were 25 year old Justin Petty and 23 year old Casey Landrith of Pekin and 23 year old Haley Kramer of Metamora. The arrests came after some 30 businesses in Pekin, East Peoria and Peoria were burglarized since January. Pekin Police spokesman Mike Eeten says items were stolen from stores to primarily finance drug addictions.
