A Peoria man, accused of trying to kill another man over a public aid card dispute, is on trial in Peoria County. 26 year old Deanglis Turner is charged with two counts of attempted murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, aggravated discharge of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon and mob action. Police say Turner shot Marckus Davis last May in the 2200 block of West Wiswall. Two others are also charged with mob action in connection with this incident.
