Average retail gas prices in Peoria have fallen 5.2 cents per gallon in the past week, according to data released Monday by GasBuddy.com. Prices were 13.8 cents per gallon higher than a year ago but 18.4 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan says barring any hurricanes or disruptions from Iraq, gas prices could fall further in the next few weeks as we approach the middle of the summer driving season.
