A Peoria man, who was sentenced to life in prison for fatally stabbing his wife four years ago, was back in court Monday after the appellate court threw out his conviction and ordered a new trial. Clarence Thomas was convicted of the January 2010 death of Martha Thomas who was stabbed over thirty times in a car on Adams Street in front of the couple's young child. Thomas will be back in court March 3rd for a court review.
