Road Kill Bill Approved

  While the state is grabbling with money issues, Illinois lawmakers Wednesday took another step to allow you to pick up your nearest road kill. According to the Illinois General Assembly website, the Illinois House voted to override the governor's veto of a measure designed to let people collect dead animals found along the road. The governor vetoed the bill citing safety measures. The legislation now moves to the Illinois Senate.
