Congressman Aaron Schock of Peoria and House Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer introduced the Full Service Community Schools Act in 2014 Wednesday. The bipartisan bill would create a competitive grant program to expand the number of full service community schools, grades K 12, around the country. By providing quality education and a range of vital health and social services, full service community schools are one stop shops that bring together students, families and communities.
