Taste of Washington Kicks off "Clydesdale Strong" Week

WASHINGTON - The week's worth of captivities revolves around the famous Budweiser Clydesdales, who are in town.
WASHINGTON - The famous Budweiser Clydesdales are in Washington , and the City has planned a week of fun for them.

It is calling the week "Clydesdale Strong".

Tuesday night was the seventh annual Taste of Washington.

People could sample food and drinks from 14 different vendors.

They also had a chance to visit the beer garden, write on the "Emotion in Motion" traveling wall, and check out the Clydesdales.

Hunter Englehardt of Washington said, "Pretzel bites, that's what I ate. I ate pretzel bites!"

Hunter's Father, Nathan Englehardt, added, "It's a great evening, a great opportunity to be out with the local vendors and community and have a fun time."

The festival runs until Sunday.

Wednesday is the "Fun Run with the Clydesdales", 6 p.m., at Five Points Washington.
