EAST PEORIA- The recovery from natural disasters continues in central Illinois. However, victims are making sure others are prepared in the case of future disasters. Thursday night, dozens of people listened to remarks by tornado victims about ways to stay ahead of the game. It took place at Stoney Creek Inn in East Peoria. Volunteers say you never know when disaster will strike so you must always stay prepared. The forum is in conjunction with the FEMA's national "Day of Action" that hopes to prepare people for natural disasters.
