A volunteer fireman, accused of intentionally setting fires, made his first court appearance in Knox County Tuesday on the four new cases filed against him. A public defender was appointed Tuesday for 24 year old Blake Walsh of Williamsfield. He was charged last week with arson and criminal damage to property and now, four new cases have been filed. His bond remains at a quarter million dollars. Officials say investigators had been looking into a series of arson fires involving hay bales and grassy areas mostly in the Williamsfield area. Walsh is due in court April 28th.
