PEORIA - The winner of a popular dance television show with ties to Peoria is bringing his moves to the River City.

19-year-old Fik-shun says he is still living a dream come true. Last fall, he won this season of FOX’s hit show "So You Think You Can Dance."

Since then, he's been on a 42 city tour, and is preparing to hit the road again. Fik-shun is in Peoria to see family and friends who supported him. Friday, he stopped by the WMBD studios to thank local fans.

"It's amazing to hear that a city that I've practically grown up in is giving me so much support and so much love throughout this entire journey. It's amazing,” he said.

You can meet Fik-shun Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. He will greet fans at D&D Production Studio on Detweiller Drive in Peoria. Fik-shun says he just wants to thank his supporters.
